New Year In Nashville

Hello, everyone! It has been quite the weekend over here in Nash Vegas! I (along with 140,000 others) spent New Years Eve with some of my best friends at the Jack Daniel's Bash on Broadway. We had an absolute blast watching Chris Stapleton and The Kings of Leon perform and I wouldn't have wanted to ring in the New Year any other way! This entire weekend has been filled with good friends, crazy adventures (including an accidental trip to a strip club!!), and a whole lotta laughs. I hope everyone got to kick back and remember all the good times 2015 had to offer.

New Years is one of my favourite holidays because it means revival. I hate when people talk about resolutions as a time to change. You and I are perfectly imperfect, there's no need to change but plenty of room to grow. It's time to revive some of those dreams and goals we've all had and kick some serious ass in 2016!!

For my holiday party clothing picks I was incredibly inspired by leather and embellishments. I picked up a killer leather sleeved coat from AllSaints (find similar here) to keep me warm downtown and paired it with an Adrianna Papell Sequin Mesh Blouson Dress. I'm in love with the fit of this dress and the mesh overlay that holds the embellishments. It also hits at the perfect spot to wear with my Stuart Weitzman AllLegs Boots (had to keep my legs warm somehow!)

With Oliver Rousteing + Balmain putting beading/embellishing back on the map, I was incredibly excited to play around with Adrianna's beautiful (and affordable) pieces for New Years Eve! 

All that said, I hope everyone had an unforgettable 2015. I cannot thank you all enough for taking the time to read my little rants on what I think is cool and happening in the fashion world...S+R would be nothing without your support!
