NYFW DIARY: Day 4 at Tommy Hilfiger + The NYC Moschino
And here we are, saving the best for last. Day 4 was without a doubt one of the best and most exciting days of my fashion career. To be able to say I saw Tommy Hilfiger's show at my first fashion week is a dream come true.
As embarrassing as it is, there was definitely a tear in my eye when I saw Queen Gi open the show.
So how did I like the actual line/show? It was spectacular!!! The show was so fun and so fast paced. I adored how the girls ended the show by walking out arm in arm with each other. It brought a sense of reality and girl power to the closing. The set was unreal! A BOAT?! In a WAREHOUSE?! Only Tommy! The outfits were stunning and beauty was spot on. Everything embellished and everything sheer took my top picks, but I especially loved how he put the girls in dainty little socks to pair with the sky high heels. Gigi's second look (the blouse + bathing suit bottom combo) had to be my favorite due to my obsession with showing off a woman's legs. I would rock that outfit all summer if I ever get my legs to look like Gi's!
I decided to wear a pair of wide leg 1. State striped pants with a leather jacket and scarf to the show to keep me warm and help me put my own spin on nautical fashion. Needless to say, I was thrilled to see Tommy send a pair of pants similar to mine down the runway!
After Hilfiger I went on over to Moschino's store in NYC to view their new pieces and swim suits. Moschino is becoming a staple in fun and adventurous women's + men's wear. Seen on countless celebrities and socialites, I'm so happy I could finally get in to see what all the hype has been about. I snagged a logo tee and can't wait to start styling it this summer!
& just like that...we were on the plane home. I can't thank all the designers and PR teams enough for letting me be apart of NYFW F/W 2016. It's been an unbelievable experience and I can't wait to do it all again soon!
Much love and thanks to everyone who's followed along with me through this New York Fashion Week. I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have!
