With graduation right around the corner for myself and a bunch of other college seniors, I've been thinking a lot about what's just around the corner. New apartments, new jobs, new lives. No more classes and internships, onto the big girl and big boy jobs!

That said, I've been taking a lot of inspiration from business professional attire and mixing in fun ways to keep it fresh and modern. I love a good vest and pant combo (especially in the summer!) and adore the way the shapes demand attention. For the combo, sharp colors like white or navy pop against fantastically textured blouses. I've paired mine with a high neck lace top from the Who What Wear collection at Target (I know, TARGET!!) and snakeskin booties from TopShop.

This look is the perfect look for everything from a 'brand new bottle of chardonnay and outdoor lunch' kind of afternoon to 'the regular hustle and bustle' of the everyday workplace.
