Put Me In Coach

It's been a minute since I've posted a personal outfit on the blog...so sorry for my absence! It has been quite stressful over on this side of the blog. All good stress, but stress none the less. But you know what, no matter what it is...sometimes it's ok to sit down and baby yourself a little bit. Buy yourself flowers, snag a bite or two of the cake sitting out for your co-workers birthday. If you don't take care of yourself, your life will fall to pieces. So my advice for the day: give yourself some love, you deserve it!

Now onto clothing! I'm a huge fan of jumpsuits, but more often than not they just don't fit my body. Sick of this, I decided I was going to find a way around the problem at hand. I decided that my best bet was to find two pieces (particularly from the same designer) made out of the same material and wear them like a jumpsuit. I snagged my top and bottom from Alice + Olivia and couldn't be more thrilled!

Now I will say, it's not easy to find a matching set like I did. If you can't come across two pieces that are exactly alike, try sticking to either matching fabrics or matching color palettes. The key is similarity in creating a two piece jumpsuit look! 

I paired my make shift jumpsuit with my favorite Joie lace ups and a gorgeous Amanda Valentine choker made right here in Nashville (I make sure to support local designers whenever I can(; ). I also threw on my new coach bag to tie the look together. I'm telling you, Coach is coming back in a BIG way...you're going to be seeing a lot more of their work on here!
