Stone Cold

Happy Tuesday everyone! So today is the first day of September which means Fall is right around the corner. Fall/Autumn (whatever you call it) is hands down my favorite fashion season. Layers + dark colors, what could be better?

That said, I'm taking a hot second to share a couple of my favorite Summer pieces that transition fantastically for Fall.

TopShop Black Boyfriend Jeans: I'm going to be completely honest, I never owned a pair of boyfriend jeans before these for two reasons; 1) I thought they were basic as hell (sorry bout it) 2) They made me look fat. And I know that oversized things often make you appear smaller, but I couldn't find a pair that looked good on me...until I found these. They're just enough grunge/just enough sexy. I bought mine at Nordstrom but you can find them Here (bonus: they're on sale).

Longchamp backpack: The damn thing is slick and super sturdy. I would throw all of my styling essentials (sewing kit, boob tape, etc) into it whenever I was on set, and now can also toss in my class essentials. I'm sold on this pack, doesn't look like I'll be using anything else for a long while! Get yours Here. 

So there ya go, two simple + easy pieces that can help carry you from the end of summer to early fall. Here's hoping everyone who finds this is ready for some cooler weather like I am.
