Ready/Set

My roommate Rachael (yo, Rach...love you girl) always makes fun of me because I come on here and post photos of me in heels + dresses + "nice stuff" when 75% of the time I'm actually dressed like this. It can be hard balancing a full college course load, a job, and a blog sometimes. I know everyone can relate to that...so how can you still manage to look presentable when you have little time to actually get yourself ready?

I have your answer, CUTE ASS WORK-OUT CLOTHES. I get more compliments on these darn leggings than I do on anything else! It's easy, it's comfy, and it makes you look super athletic even if your idea of exercise is the walk from the parking lot to the Starbucks counter and back. For real though, one of my favorite things about wearing work-out attire is how it makes me feel. I am way more likely to to park in the last spot of the parking lot or take an extra lap around campus when I'm in athletic gear. More importantly, I've noticed I make healthier choices when it comes to snacking and meal selection.

Buy pieces that are easily interchangeable, you can never go wrong with black. Add pieces with fun shapes or tie a jacket around your waist for an effortless edge. Invest in a pair of sportswear shoes that tie any athletic look together. For example, meet the shoes I LIVE IN. Seriously, I keep these babies in my car as my "go to" shoes. The wedge makes them fresh and the black looks good with everything!

Physical Fitness has always been important to me (fun fact, I was a competitive dancer for 14 years...Xtreme Dance Force what's up), and I'm a firm believer in "if you look good, you feel good." So don't feel bad or under dressed if you leave the house in work-out clothes! They're cool, sleek, and sexy as hell! Own your body, and don't be afraid to show it off! Here's to a healthy and happy life...
